Operational Policies

Non-partisan, voter education requires AAP remain impartial in the voting and election process. AAP and its representatives make NO ENDORSEMENTS, EITHER IMPLICIT OR EXPLICIT, OF ANY CANDIDATE IN ANY ELECTION OR RACE.

Voters

AAP is a volunteer-driven, non-partisan education project designed to serve voters. Voters and volunteers need to register with our website in order to access Abigail Adams Project information because:

  • Abigail Adams Project is a trademarked name and logo
  • Unauthorized use of the Project's materials and content is prohibited
  • All published materials (Voter Guides) must be printed in tact and not altered in any way if distributed
  • Any editing of AAP publications constitutes copyright violation

If you cannot find a Voter Guide for a particular election, please let us know. If time allows, we can help you coordinate acquiring the necessary information for us to create and produce a Voter Guide in your area. AAP provides educational materials and makes every effort to create complete, non-partisan Voter Guides wherever we have volunteers. If you find an error or have a question regarding our website, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Candidates

AAP only surveys candidates in areas where volunteers are present to operate the Project and distribute Voter Guides. AAP conducts surveys at the request of voters, not the candidates.

While a candidate running for office cannot operate as an official Abigail Adams volunteer, the candidate and their election team members are welcome to register on the AAP website, access and distribute AAP Voter Guides.

Once AAP has committed to conducting a survey for a particular election, all qualified candidates will be petitioned to participate in the AAP survey. Should a candidate decline, fail to complete or otherwise not participate in the AAP survey, their response shall be noted on our Voter Guide. Due diligence is conducted to pursue all qualified candidates in a particular election. As a non-partisan effort, we highly value fairness. Volunteers are trained not to demonstrate favoritism or lack of fairness in candidate petitioning or contact. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

  • If you are a candidate, have been issued a survey link, and have a question or problem, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. immediately.

Project Partners

Project Partners are so named because these organizations have, in some way, supported the Abigail Adams Project and our national efforts in non-partisan Constitutional education.
